Biblical Studies & Christian Leadership
Valor aspires to prepare tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ.
Program Goals
Valor aspires to prepare tomorrow’s leaders to transform the world for Christ. Students are gifted in unique ways and so our desire is to provide opportunities for deeper exploration and biblical application in various academic disciplines.
In our experience, we have discovered that there are many students who have a desire to deepen their knowledge and application of the Bible beyond the required Bible classes, and also to experience service and Christian leadership in a specific and directed context. It is the desire of the committee to support student passions through guiding students within specific areas of calling or leaning - missional emphasis, pastoral emphasis, vocational emphasis, theological/educational emphasis.
Advanced Biblical Engagement
To this end, the Biblical Studies and Christian Leadership Endorsement Program involves advanced Biblical engagement including enhanced requirements within Bible courses, practical service that is impactful in a specific area, experiential engagement in a defined ministry/leadership context, and a final capstone project/presentation that stands separately from their senior presentation.
