2025 - 26 Admissions Timeline

Rising 9th Grade Applicants

Valor’s application opens Sept. 1 for 8th-grade students interested in applying for the following school year!


Apply by: January 10


Admissions Decision Notification: February 21


Admissions Test Date: January 11

*Extended Time testing offered


Tuition Assistance Application: Opens - November 1, Deadline - January 31


Tuition Assistance Award Notification: March 3


Application fee: $175, non-refundable

Rolling Admissions

Space permitting, Valor accepts applications into the spring and summer months, and will continue to fill any available seats with qualified applicants. Wait pools can be expected.


Apply after: January 10


Hear back: Within 4 weeks


Application fee: $175, non-refundable

2024-2025 Mid-Year Transfers

Prospective mid-year transfer students are reviewed each Fall based on seats available per class. We encourage you to contact our Transfer Student Coordinator who will guide you through the admissions process.


Apply by: December 1


Tuition Assistance Deadline: November 15


Admissions Decision and Tuition Assistance Award Notification: December 9


Application fee: $175, non-refundable

2025-2026 Transfers

Prospective transfer students for the next school year are reviewed based on seats available per grade. Our Transfer Student Coordinator is available as a resource throughout the application process. If there are no seats available, a wait pool may be implemented

What should I know before applying to Valor?

Valor is a place where students with unique interests, backgrounds, and academic goals find success. On our campus, you will find an enriching community. While there is no one “type” of student that is eligible for admission to Valor, we do ask that applicants review and agree to the following admission criteria:

If you’re ready to apply today, create an account on SchoolAdmin — our online admission and enrollment software. After you submit your application, your checklist will appear in your SchoolAdmin account.

 

Start My Application

Within your SchoolAdmin account, you’ll be able to view and complete the admissions checklist, which consists of the following steps:

  1. Sign up for a family interview.

  2. Complete parent and student short answer questions.

  3. Send Recommendation Form links to your current Math teacher, English teacher, and Administrator.

  4. Sign up for Valor’s Admissions Test. 

  5. Send Records Request link to your school’s registrar. Records will include 7th and 8th-grade transcripts, attendance, and discipline.
