Sport as Worship

At Valor Christian Athletics, Christ is at the center of everything we do. Through our Sport as Worship philosophy, we teach students that athletics are an opportunity to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ—where worship is the big "W" and every win is the little "w." This Christ-centered, countercultural approach shapes athletes who pursue excellence while growing in their faith, learning to put Christ first, serve others, and compete with humility and purpose.

Faith Integration

Faith is intentionally woven into every aspect of the athletic experience. Guided by coaches and chaplains, student-athletes learn to connect their faith with their sport, experiencing growth both spiritually and athletically. For those who want to dive deeper, Valor also offers a semester-long Bible elective focused on faith and sport integration, equipping students to develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

We believe that success in the classroom comes before success in competition or performance. Our coaches and faculty partner with student-athletes to help them balance the demands of rigorous academics, athletics, and the arts, reviewing weekly grade reports and providing encouragement and accountability whenever additional support is needed. Through this commitment to academic, athletic, and artistic excellence, students are prepared to thrive in every area of life.
