Following Jesus

Young Life
Our Mission
Young Life is a non-denominational outreach organization for teenagers. Young Life staff seek out these individuals in hopes of building lasting relationships with them by inviting them to fun, adventurous, and often life-changing experiences! They pray for these individuals, share the Gospel with them, walk with them in their personal journeys, and help prepare them for a life-long relationship with Christ.
One way they do this is through their weekend camps at Crooked Creek Ranch in Fraser, CO. All Young Life camps share a common purpose -- to create an environment where Young Life staff help make Christ tangible by creatively presenting the complete Gospel of God's love. Volunteering at these fun weekend camps is not only a great way to help share God's love, but to also meet new friends who all share a common goal.
You can earn Discovery service hours by volunteering to serve in the dining hall so that over 500 campers can experience the love of Jesus Christ through your service!

GraceFull Cafe
GraceFull Cafe's mission is “to provide a home in the Littleton community where people from all backgrounds can gather, eat well and be inspired to give back.” At GraceFull all guests are welcome whether or not they can pay for their meal. It provides child care for the participants so they can come to the events but even more, it provides a safe, fun environment for the kids to engage in social and emotional skill building that relates to the teachings their parents are learning. It is Manna Resource Center's hope that through therapeutic play, the children can find outlets to handle past trauma and find the support they need.
Commitment Details: The volunteer team meets at 5:45pm to set up and prep for the evening. Meals on Wheels
Make a difference in the lives of seniors by delivering them a hot, nutritious meal by volunteering with Volunteers of America's Meals on Wheels program!
Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers deliver hot or frozen meals to seniors who anticipate the healthy lunch and comforting smile of a volunteer each delivery day. Delivery routes are available in Denver, Jefferson, and Arapahoe Counties, Monday – Saturday, and each route only takes about one to two hours to complete. In this short time, volunteers can help to ensure that these seniors stay safe, healthy, and happy in their own homes. Deliver once a week, once a month or as your schedule allows.
Delivering Meals on Wheels is about much more than just dropping off a plate of food. You might be the only visitor Meals on Wheels clients see each day and your contact with them is so important for their spirit and wellbeing. If you want to brighten the day of a senior citizen in your community, this program is for you!

Following Jesus
- We follow Jesus as our example in embodying love and holding out hope to homeless families.
- We follow Jesus as we engage in mutual relationships with vulnerable families in a way that offers dignity, respect, and lasting impact.
- We follow Jesus, recognizing our triune God as our life source and depending on prayer to empower us to fulfill God’s purposes through Bridge of Hope.
Embracing the Church
- We embrace the Christian faith communities (churches, Bible studies, house churches, etc.) as the vital link for ending homelessness for women and children.
- We embrace groups of Neighboring Volunteers from within Christian faith communities that provide tangible supports, encouragement, and friendships that homeless and at-risk families need.
- We embrace and draw staff, board members, and Neighboring Volunteers from Christian faith communities who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Choosing Hope
- We choose hope by respecting each woman and child participating in the program, regardless of race, ethnicity, faith, or life experience.

Hope in Our City
God has taught us the importance of holistic community transformation. It is necessary to invest into the entire network of people: leaders, churches, parents/guardians, children, schools, medical resources, etc. That is why Hope in Our City will focus on entire communities.
Our strategy is that through building relationships we will be able to develop individuals in the seven specific areas of language, employment, education, life-skills, citizenship, health and spiritual development. An individual bettering themselves in these areas will lead to a better community, which leads to a stronger city, which leads to a healthier nation and ultimately a world filled with hope today and for all eternity through belief in Jesus.
