Mission & Library Hours
The Valor Library is a hub for student learning and connection with welcoming, personalized service. Guided by our faith in Jesus Christ, the source of all knowledge and truth, our library provides a doorway to discovering and exploring His world. We teach students to research deeply, think critically, and read widely, pursuing knowledge through a discerning lens of faith.
Monday, Wednesday-Friday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

What's up @ the library?
Reading Buddies!
The library's Reading Buddies Practicum was a huge success! Students joined us across the street at Cherry Hills Christian Schools. Our Valor students, or Big Buddies, were paired with Little Buddies from kindergarten, first, and second grades. They read with their Little Buddies to foster a love of reading and help them with their literacy skills. And it didn’t stop there! In teams, they visited those three grades in their classrooms to sing songs, play games, and, most importantly–host a storytime! It was a lot of preparation and hard work for our students, and we are so impressed with how well they connected with the kids and became reading role models.
National Library Week
This years National Library Week was celebrated with a Book to Movie bracket competition! Some of the titles included were: Dune, The Martian, Where the Crawdads Sing, Holes, The Outsiders, and Hidden Figures. Who do you think won?
