Alumni Gather for Annual 'Pie Oh My'

Valor's parents provided pies and set a space for alumni to meet and greet one another and catch up on Wednesday. The 'Pie Oh My' event has become an annual alumni tradition that takes place during Thanksgiving week when many college students return home for time with family and friends.

Valor alumni, young and 'old', from the past 14 graduation classes come by to see if they recognize classmates and to meet alumni whom they do not yet know. This year the Lordon family (top, left to right, Bethany, Sam, Dan, and Ben) represented their classes from 2013 to 2022!

The Valor team loves seeing our beloved former students who are now navigating college years, careers, and new families! Some have even become Valor faculty and staff over the years. Daniel Ramirez (Class of 2010), a local business leader, is currently Valor's youngest board member!

You'll hear more about Daniel and other past Valor students next year as we launch an alumni video series, and a digital storyboard on social media and in Valor's new Alumni Center, located in the Academic Building. Alumni are welcome to stop by anytime to visit with Alumni Coordinator Blake Froistad (Class of 2011) and see the new space built out exclusively for them!
