Raegan Beers and Kindyll Wetta Competed in the NCAA Women's Basketball National Tournament!
Valor Girls Basketball Alums, Raegan Beers (pictured below) and Kindyll Wetta (pictured above) represented us proudly in the 2024 NCAA Women's Basketball National Tournament. University of Colorado junior, Wetta, had her best game of the year in their first-round matchup against Drake where she scored a career-high 16 points on 7-of-10 from the field. She helped the Buffs advance to the Sweet 16 where her aggressive defense faced the task of guarding one of the best players in the nation, Caitlin Clark of Iowa. Wetta tallied 5 steals and 7 points.
Oregon State sophomore, Beers, powered the Beavers to the Elite Eight with her 18-point, 13-rebound performance in their victory over Notre Dame in the Sweet 16. OSU then faced #1 South Carolina in the Elite Eight, falling 70-58. Beers raked in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
