Sam Callery honors Douglas County K-9s with a statue and memorial plaque.
Sam Callery (Class of 2027) was recently spotlighted for his Eagle Scout capstone project. His project is to set up a memorial to honor canines who have faithfully served Douglas County Sheriffs and residents. Sam researched the type of statue and display options and presented them to the DC Sheriff's Office and the county commissioners, who gratefully embraced his work. Sam is currently raising the money to cover the cost of the statue and memorial plaque and the future upkeep of these wonderful pieces. Thank you, Sam, for your great work to benefit our community!
