DECA Competes at Smoky Hill Stampede

DECA does great at Smoky Hill Stampede

Valor business students recently competed in the Smoky Hill Stampede DECA event. This was an opportunity for students to translate what they were learning in the classroom into real-world scenarios. Students are provided a packet with a business scenario/problem and they have 10 minutes to prepare their ideas for a business meeting with a judge. This competition was judged by other students who are predominantly made up of DECA officers from each of the competing high schools. Valor had 34 students compete in this event and 23 students finished in the top 6 in their section. Way to go Eagles!
