Valor's Model UN Team sent 17 delegations to the Cherry Creek and Cherokee Trail Model UN tournament. In total, five of our teams received awards for their efforts. Valor students earned great experience and some won top placing at all levels.
Model UN Team Competes Successfully
Last Saturday Valor's Model United Nations Club sent 17 delegations to the Cherry Creek and Cherokee Trail Model UN tournament. Students explored issues including the recent coup in Niger, ongoing violence in the Caribbean, and the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis. In total, five of our teams received awards for their efforts. Valor students earned great experience and some won top placing at all levels.
Pictured below from left to right are Aidan Sheehy and Samuel Callery (1st place winners at the Beginner level), Macy Dishno (2nd place at the Advanced level), Kelly O'Hearn (1st place at the Intermediate-Advanced level), Benjamin Katanic (2nd place at the Intermediate level), and Fritz Mezger and Harrison Bronson (3rd place at the Beginner-Intermediate level).
Other student delegates who competed include Cooper Abry, Thomas DeGraw, Samantha Dinneen, Thomas Heck, Anya Hidalgo, Isabella Hidalgo, April Johnston, Christine Knutson, Shua Lee, Sadie Lorentz-Nhan, Delaney McCallum, Ava Peters, Juliet Ragan, Bailey Webb, and Sarah Yeoh. Congratulations to all 17 Delegates!
