Girls Volleyball Recognized Nationally

The Valor Girls Volleyball team and Head Coach Jayne McHugh were recognized on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday, November 19 by the Honorable Greg Lopez. This recognition comes after the program’s third straight state championship in November. It has been nearly 40 years since a program has achieved the feat of a three-peat.

Congressman Lopez noted the team’s teamwork and determination which will serve as an inspiration for future generations of high school athletes. Coach McHugh was recognized for her leadership and mentorship while instilling the values of perseverance and sportsmanship in her players.

Congratulations to the student-athletes in the Girls Volleyball program and Coach Jayne McHugh on this national recognition!
