Two Valor students who are competitive equestrians recently earned ribbons in the United States Hunter Jumper Association! Megan Holliday (Class of 2024) and Ava Uhrig (Class of 2026) each qualified to compete on a four-person team at the Associations' West Coast Jumper Championships in Temecula, California last month.

The Boys XC team ran to a championship win over several nationally ranked teams at the Nike Portland Invite! The Eagles triumphed over nationally ranked Franklin (OR) by 42 points, led by Dane Eike's 3rd place finish. The boys saw Kaeden Dendorfer (18th), Judah Crooks (21st), Cory Gilbert (43rd), and Porter Warren (45th) round out the top 5 Valor scorers followed by Griffin Mazeski and Isaac Yang.
For the second year in a row, Valor Christian running back Gavin Sawchuk has been named the 5A Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year. Sawchuk, a senior and University of Oklahoma commit, first won the award after his junior season in 2020.

On November 11, Valor had its highest number of signing commitments in recent history with 33 student-athletes committing to college and accepting scholarships to play at some of the top schools in the country.
Valor’s football program seeks to embody the same qualities in its players and coaches. On the varsity through freshman teams, players are constantly pointed toward their most important goal of glorifying God and growing into men of character.
In 2015, the boys tennis team qualified just four varsity athletes for the 4A State Tournament and came away with a 21st place finish. They’ve been on an upward climb ever since then, finishing a little bit stronger each year, and coming even closer to that prized title: State Champions.
